Do you love working with people? Have you ever wanted to give back to the Brisbane community? Or are you on the lookout for some relevant industry experience? If you answered yes to any of the above – then volunteering at 96five could be for you!
For over 40 years, 96five volunteers have been an integral part of the ministry – in fact the station was run exclusively by volunteers for many, many years! 96five volunteers contribute in many areas across the station including: administration, sales support, fundraising, promotions, production and program presentation – all we ask is that you bring a big smile, a willingness to help and a heart for people.

If you have an idea for a program, let us know by completing a Program Proposal and include information about the type of program you would like to see on 96five.
96five is also a great place to do your uni or tafe internship! Quite a number of our staff, including Nicky from 96five’s Breakfast Show started at 96five through an internship. If you are studying in the areas of business, marketing/communications, events, production, design, digital, film or photography and want to complete your internship in a fun and supportive Christian environment then please complete the volunteer application form.

If you’re in high school and are looking for some real business or media organisation experience, then get in touch! 96five can offer a weeklong work experience program which will give you a taste of all aspects of radio – both what happens on air and everything that goes on behind the scenes.
