As part of the only all-female team on Lego Masters this year, Lexi is hoping to inspire girls as she competes for the prestigious Lego Masters title.
Hosted by comedian Hamish Blake and certified Lego designer Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, teams of two face ambitious brick-building challenges each week with an unlimited supply of Lego bricks known as the ‘brick pit’.
Video editor Lexi loves putting her imagination to the test with her teammate Rachel as part of Season of Lego Masters.

Joining 96five’s Ken and Nicky for Brissy Breaky, Lexi shared about the joy of creating on Lego Masters and how it’s a completely different experience building Lego at home.
“When you build at home you don’t build under a time pressure, you can look at the clock and take as much time as you want. It’s really crazy but it’s so much fun to have access to that brick pit” Lexi said.
“Building the bridges were crazy, the fact that we beat the engineers blows my mind.”
“It’s all good fun, any day I get to go into that brick pit and keep building, it’s just magical.”
Lego Masters has never seen an all-female team take out the Lego Masters title and Lexi alongside her partner Rachel have their eyes on the prize. Lexi admitted that she feels the pressure of being the only all-female team but she’s using it to inspire others.
“We’ve never seen a female winner of Lego Masters and that’s something we totally would love to do.
“It’s not just a toy for boys, it’s totally for girls too.”
Lego Masters airs on Channel 9 Sundays 7pm and Monday-Tuesday 7pm.
