April is Hope & Prayer month at 96five and we would love you to join us as we pray each day throughout the month.

Daily Prayer Prompts

These prompts are designed to help you as you pray throughout the month of April. Use them as a launching pad to inspire your prayers.

Day 1 – Saturday 1 April 2023

Are there things in your life that you are worried about? Spend time with God today seeking His peace and giving your worries and cares to Him.

Day 2 – Sunday 2 April 2023

Pray for our front-line workers in our nation. Our medical professional, law enforcement officers, emergency services and volunteer services.

Day 3 – Monday 3 April 2023

Spend time today in thanksgiving. Take note of the things you are thankful for today and thank God for them .

Day 4 – Tuesday 4 April 2023

Take some time today to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted for their faith. Pray that God would protect them and continue to strengthen and grow their faith.

Day 5 – Wednesday 5 April 2023

Is there a friend in your life who you keep thinking of? Spend time today praying for them.

Day 6 – Thursday 6 April 2023

Together, lets pray the Lord’s Prayer bringing all that is in our heart and laying it at the foot of the cross.

Matthew 6:9-13 – “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For the Kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and forever. Amen.

Day 7 – Friday 7 April 2023

Let’s spend time today thanking God and remembering who He is and what He has done for us on the Cross. That He has called us and is a living God working in our lives, our community, our nation and our world every second of every day!

Day 8 – Saturday 8 April 2023

Let’s bring to God those in our families and communities that may be struggling with mental health challenges. Pray that God will continue to be an ever present source of comfort and strength for them.

Day 9 – Sunday 9 April 2023

Praise God for the amazing gift of salvation we have received through His death on the cross and His resurrection.

Day 10 – Monday 10 April 2023

Pray for those who are coming to our country seeking refuge and a new beginning.

Day 11 – Tuesday 11 April 2023

Pray for Christian Media ministries in Australia. Pray that God would continue to open doors for them to step through.

Day 12 – Wednesday 12 April 2023

Is there a person in your life who doesn’t know Jesus? Pray for their salvation, that they would come to know Jesus.

Day 13 – Thursday 13 April 2023

Let’s join in prayer for those struggling with health issues. Pray that God, the ultimate physican would bring healing and restoration to those in need.

Day 14 – Friday 14 April 2023

We all need forgiveness. Today spend some time with God seeking His forgiveness and allow Him to take the weight off your shoulders.

Day 15 – Saturday 15 April 2023

Let’s continue to pray for peace for Ukraine and for those who have been impacted by the war.

Day 16 – Sunday 16 April 2023

Today let’s pray for the Body of Christ. For the church as a whole and it’s leaders. That we would all see and hear from God and trust His direction.

Day 17 – Monday 17 April 2023

Lets pray for our street and neighbours.

Day 18 – Tuesday 17 April 2023

Today let’s bring to God all those who have been impacted by the loss of a loved one or who are experiencing grief. Pray that God would bring comfort and peace.

Day 19 – Wednesday 19 April 2023

As you seek to know and understand God better, pray that He would continue to grow your faith and understanding of the scriptures.

Day 20 – Thursday 20 April 2023

Pray for our local church communities and ministry organisations. Pray that God would continue to open doors for them to reach their local communities for Christ.

Day 21 – Friday 21 April 2023

Today, find a quiet place to spend 5 mins with God. Spend time seeking rest in Him. Think about the ways you have seen God work this week and Thank Him for his presence in your life.

Day 22 – Saturday 22 April 2023

Pray for the city of Brisbane.

Day 23 – Sunday 23 April 2023

Scripture encourages us to pray for our enemies and those that persecute us. Let’s pray for those people today and ask for God’s help, even when it’s difficult.

Day 24 – Monday 23 April 2023

Think about your workplace. Spend some time today in prayer for your workplace and your workmates.

Day 25 – Tuesday 25 April 2023

Pray for our service men and women and their families, giving thanks to those who have served and continue to serve our country.

Day 26 – Wednesday 26 April 2023

Pray for your family. Name them and lift them up to God.

Day 27 – Thursday 27 April 2023

Pray for those experiencing financial hardship in our city, that God would be the ultimate provider and that He would make a way.

Day 28 – Friday 28 April 2023

Today we would love to pray for you specifically. Please send us through anything you would like us to pray for here.

Day 29 – Saturday 29 April 2023

Our prayer point for today is for peace. That the peace that passes all understanding will guide our hearts and minds.

Day 30 – Sunday 30 April 2023

Pray for our global Leaders. Those leading countries around the world and our local, state and national leaders.
