Chocolate eggs, time off to spend with friends and family but most importantly to remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Despite first appearances, the Easter story is a good news story. Easter is all about love, forgiveness and new life for everyone.
Jesus came to rescue and restore humanity and that’s worth celebrating.

Easter Sunday
6:00am – Easter Sunday on 96five begins with the nation-wide Wesley Mission Easter Sunrise Service, simulcast on Channel Nine and heard on 96five.
The service will include two pieces by Soul Purpose, an interview with Professor Graeme Clark (the inventor of the cochlear ear implant), prayer and a message by Rev Stu Cameron, the CEO and Superintendent of Wesley Mission.
7:00am – Join 96five’s Alex Milne for a special Easter edition of ‘Sunday Celebration’! Alex will share thoughts and insights together with songs of inspiration and worship focusing on gratitude and thankfulness.
9:00am – The Easter celebrations on 96five continues with ‘Family Worship’. John Robertson is the Senior Pastor at Riverlife Baptist Church located in Seventeen Mile Rocks and will be bringing a message titled ‘He is Risen’.
Throughout the Easter season you’ll also hear short messages from local Brisbane pastors and Christian leaders on air, we hope these encourage and inspire you on your journey.
