Voluntary Assisted Dying Spots from Paul Clark

The Voluntary Assisted Dying Act was introduced to Queensland Parliament by Yvette D’Ath, Minister for Health and Ambulance Services on 25 May 2021.

The proposed law to allow voluntary assisted dying is expected to be debated by Queensland’s Parliament in September 2021. If passed, voluntary assisted dying will be available from early 2023.

Should the proposed law pass, Queensland will become the fifth state in Australia to make voluntary assisted dying legal.
