Listen: Ken & Nicky speak with Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner about the upcoming prayer breakfast.

With a forced hiatus in 2020 due to the coronavirus shutdowns, the Lord Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast returns for 2021.

The event will take place at Brisbane City Hall on Wednesday 2nd June,  from 6.45am for 7.30am commencement.

Once again 96five is the media partner and gold sponsor of the breakfast, continuing the station’s commitment to Brisbane’s Christian community.

Now in its 15th year, the annual Lord Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is an opportunity for Brisbane’s church communities to come together for a unique interdenominational gathering.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner is looking forward to the event retuning to City Hall.

“Every year we have the privilege of hosting the prayer breakfast, and something very special takes place when people from different denominations come together, to pray for our city and each other” the Lord Mayor said.

The keynote speaker will be Mr Peter James, CEO of SU QLD, with the charity recipient being Hummingbird House, which is Queensland’s only children’s hospice.

Tickets for the breakfast can be purchased in tables of eight or individually with pricing as follows:

  • 1 Table – $280.00 including GST (strictly eight people per table)
  • Single Ticket – $35.00 including GST
