In August 96five and generous listeners like you partnered with Christian Blind Mission for their annual Miracles Day, and saw 482 of the world’s poorest given the miracle of sight!

With your support we helped bring sight to people like Fitri. Fitri lives with her husband and four-year-old daughter, and has lived with cataract blindness since she was just three months old. Even basic tasks such as reading or doing household chores were a struggle for Fitri, until CBM staff and volunteers conducted a simple operation to restore her sight.

Fitri’s husband is a fisherman, and the family doesn’t have much money. It would have taken years for them to save enough for Fitri’s life-changing surgery, so thanks for helping provide the miracle of sight immediately to many like her through your generosity on the day
