96five is Your Radio Home of Christmas

You know it’s such an honour to be part of the on air team at this special time of year. As a group of announcers, we all choose to stay on the air right up till Christmas eve, which is rare in radio as most stations shut down at this time of year. This year 96five has the biggest Christmas CD library in town and will also be rolling out non-stop Christmas weekends with Christmas tunes back to back for the whole of December.

We believe in being there for our radio family, spreading that Christmas message of hope, hearing those stories from across the city that leave you feeling warm and witnessing all that Christmas has to offer if you just choose to partake.

I’ve never taken a phone call, given away a prize or had the privilege of surprising a family in need at this time of year who hasn’t been in a good mood.
