Her Way is a magazine that tells stories about women’s sport and it was a talented and ambitious 11 year old who got it off the ground.
Young Abby was frustrated that hardly any magazines mentioned any of her female sporting heroes so she decided to change that by starting Her Way, and even donating some of the profits to a good sporting cause.
The magazine’s motto is “if she can, you can”.
The first issue was launched on September 24 at a cost of $2, with half the money going to UNICEF Australia’s “Empower Girls Through Cricket” appeal.
