Joe is a creative audio enthusiast with a Bachelor of Audio from SAE Institute, originally aspiring to work on film and animation audio. Growing up in Brisbane, Joe tuned in to 96five and jumped at the chance to be part of the station he grew up working as audio producer making “stuff sound cool” and cohosting the Saturday show with Iris.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys camping, fishing, and 4x4ing. Whether it’s hitting the beach in summer or cozying up by a warm fire in winter, Joe is always planning his next outdoor adventure.
Before joining 96five, Iris worked in conveyancing and now along with supporting the station as part of our admin team, she also cohosts the Saturday show with Joe. Growing up just outside Brisbane, Iris would always tune in to 96five on trips to the city and loves that she can be a part of the mission of the station. Iris loves sharing funny stories, exploring different opinions, and making fun videos.
In her spare time, she’s all about walking, hanging with friends, and discovering new cafes, bakeries, or acai bowls. A sports enthusiast, Iris’s top picks are AFL, Formula 1, and Tennis, but she’s game for anything fun and exciting!
