Crafting a delicious salmon and quinoa dish it came down to the wire with the Mums in the Kitchen team tying for second place with the Culinary Cops and Springfree Trampolines claiming the coveted title of first place for the second year running.
Chefs from across Australia stepped up to the plate to judge the competition and support National Kidsafe Day including Damian Heads from Woodland Kitchen and Bar (Sydney), Dominique Rizzo from Pure Food Cooking, Ben Devlin from Esquire, David Pugh from Restaurant 2, Chris Einam from Egg Bistro; Mark Wright from Spring; Alison Alexander from Seasonal Pursuits; Alana Lowes – finalist MasterChef 2011; and Steen Gundesen.
Kidsafe is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation dedicated to the prevention of unintentional injury and injury death in children.
They provide resources, information and education to parents, carers, early childcare workers, high-school students and others on the hazards children face and what can be done to prevent injuries.
