Theology on Tap is a public space theology event that occurs on the second Sunday of each month. This month we are joined by speaker Peter Moore on the topic, “Science and religion—a faith response to climate change” and musician Gavin McKinney.

The talk will discuss:

  • Is there a conflict between Science and Religion or do they complement each other?
  • Creation and the human position in the created order.
  • Human responsibilities to care for the environment?
  • Human impact on the environment and Climate Change?
  • A faith-based response to Climate Change: God will provide. Science will find a solution. Governments and industry will find a solution.
  • Should we be involved? How?
  • What actions can we take personally, collectively and institutionally to build resilience, reduction of harm and moves to restore the damage.
