The Queensland Road Safety Awards 2013 are happening again this year and we know there are loads of individuals and community groups in beautiful Brisbane who need to be recognised for their efforts to save lives through their projects or programs to improve safety on our roads.

The Awards are a joint initiative of the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety Queensland (CARRS-Q) and RACQ, and are also supported by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, and the Queensland Police Service.

Nominations will close on Friday 9 August 2013 so be quick! Click here to find out how you can apply.

For those passionate about road safety working within the area of community road safety and injury prevention there’s a free Queensland Road Safety Awards Community Engagement Workshop being held on Tuesday 22 October in Rockhampton. Click here to find out more or register.
