Working at St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland company profile and information | SEEKVinnies are helping to provide the basics for those affected by the floods in Queensland and Northern NSW.  When a family evacuate their home in a natural disaster, they often leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Looking for non-emergency support?

Personal Hardship Grants are now available through the jointly funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) for eligible flood-affected residents in Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, Gympie, Noosa, Somerset, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast and Gladstone.  Residents impacted by severe flooding can now access financial assistance and support services, including Emergency Hardship Assistance grants of up to $180 per person and $900 for a family of five or more.

The 96five Careline Connection is a confidential, telephone help service for listeners who need encouragement with struggles they might be having.  The service is available between 9am and 11pm, seven days a week, and can be reached on 2103 3195.
