Woke up feeling like you didn’t get enough sleep last night?? Well, chances are, you probably didn’t.

Bed-maker, Sealy, has joined forces with a Queensland university to complete a “sleep census”, investigating the sleep patterns of Australians.

They found that the average aussie misses out on around 58 minutes of precious shut-eye each night, adding up to around two weeks of sleep a year.

The survey found snoring spouses, loud animals and rain were the most common barriers to a good night’s sleep.
