The Australian Guild of Screen Composers have announced the winners of the 2021 Screen Music Awards, presented by APRA AMCOS.
Leading the charge was Brisbane based composer Joff Bush and his Bluey music team who picked up two awards for their work on the global smash hit kids TV show.
Amazingly it was only the first time Bush had been nominated, despite having worked on Bluey for a number of years as well as shows like Australian Survivor, The Family Law and Are You Tougher Than Your Ancestors?

Joff Bush and his team were able to pick up two awards – with Bluey taking home the award for Best Music for Children’s Programming, and Bluey: The Album winning Best Soundtrack Album.
Bluey was also represented when David McCormack, frontman of the band Custard and voice of Bandit Heeler won a SMA in the category Best Music for a Television Series or Serial for his work on the ABC’s crime drama, Jack Irish.
