For the month of October our very own, Ilija Dugandzic, has been going without coffee for the Coffee Break Project to raise funds and awareness for people living with mental illness.

He’s also been keeping busy broadcasting live from the Queen St Mall to launch the campaign with celebrity ambassadors including Mrs Lisa Newman, wife to the Premier of Queensland and attending a high tea at Milk Cafe in Ashgrove with Sofie Formica from the Great South East in support of the cause.

All funds raised from the campaign go straight back to the charity Group 61, which matches volunteers with people isolated by mental illness. They are working to enhance the lives of these forgotten members of our community through friendship and understanding.

There are a ‘latte’ ways to support the cause! Head to www.coffeebreak.org.au to find out more.

Here’s some snaps of the past month…
