Queenslanders are being encouraged to take a photo that represents kindness or an act of generosity for the QCF 2023 Photo Challenge.
Community groups and non-profit organisations are also encouraged to tell their stories and share their work.
“It could be the smile put on someone’s face, like the brilliant smile which was created by a cuddle with Kit the therapy dog (pictured above) and entered by Hope for Our Children or it could be a team working hard at making a difference in their community.”
“It’s up to you to show us what kindness looks like through your lens.”
Entries can be realistic or conceptual, specific or broad so get out your camera or even your phone and let kindness inspire you.
The QCF Photo Challenge is proudly supported by The Public Trustee which promotes philanthropy and giving in the community and the winning entry will receive a $2,000 donation for the charity of their choice and a $500 prize for the photographer!
To enter, post your photo online tagging @queenslandcommunityfoundation and use the hashtag #qcfphotochallenge or you can submit the photo via the QCF website.
The competition is open to anyone in Queensland who can hold a camera and closes at midnight on 31 March 2023.
Multiple entries are allowed and the winning photo will be announced at the Queensland Philanthropy Week Launch at Parliament House on Monday 5th June 2023.
