Kensington Palace has released a series of official photos featuring Prince William, Duchess Kate and their two children Prince George and Princess Charlotte on a family holiday in the French Alps.

If you’d been living under a rock and didn’t know who this growing Royal family is, you could easily be mistaken in thinking these photos were from a winter fashion catalogue. They couldn’t be any cuter or more perfect if they tried.

“This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children had played in the snow,” the Palace’s official statement on Twitter said.

In a classic paparazzi avoiding moment, the Royals invited a photographer from the Press Association to take the photos, which feature the couple playing in the snow with 2-year-old George and 10-month-old Charlotte. “It was a very special and fun short holiday for the family, and they are grateful that John Stillwell was able to capture the moment so well,” the Palace added.

These official photos represent an ongoing agreement for privacy that William and Kate requested from the media. In exchange, they agreed to release photos from milestones in their family.
