Christmas is such a wonderful time of year, though for some families Christmas time can be a painful reminder of the hardship they’re experiencing.

Every year Dennis Stevenson borrows a shop, collects donations and gives away thousands of presents in the lead up to Christmas, and this year is no exception! Collecting gifts for opening time at 9am Monday Dennis told Scotty and Sal that people don’t need identification to visit his shop, he just wants to love everybody – there’s gifts there that are waiting to be taken to a good home!

It’s not an op-shop, he’s quick to point out, the gifts are all new, or “as new.”

From Monday the 17th, 2012 till Christmas Eve the shop is going to be open from 9am-6pm at 172 Bennetts Road,  Norman Park, Brisbane (Cnr Crown Street).
